How to Update Your Profile and Security Settings

Whether it's a new or existing account, you should occasionally update your Mind That profile to reflect your present personal information. This ensures that your details are correct and up-to-date when making transactions and will avoid delays or problems with your job requests. It's also essential to keep your Mind That profile updated for security purposes, as it helps to protect your account from unauthorised access.

Updating your Mind That Profile

Log in to your Mind That account and navigate to the main dashboard.

In the dashboard, (a) click the dropdown button on the upper rightmost part of the screen beside your profile picture. This dropdown button allows you to manage your profile.

Look for the "Profile" button and click (b). This will redirect you to the User Profile page.

On the User Profile page are different sections you can edit and update, such as your details, notifications, two-factor authentication and more. We'll touch upon each section for smoother updating of your profile.

On the following text field, (b) type in your new password, ensuring it is safe and secure by combining capital letters, small letters, and special characters.

Confirm your new password by retyping it on the last text field. (c) You can also copy and paste it into the text field.

Click the "Save" button (d) to update your new password.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

To use Two-Factor Authentication, (a) toggle it on by clicking the "Enable" button; this will prompt you to type in your secure password.

Once two-factor authentication is enabled, (b) you must first download the Google Authenticator for Android Devices or turn on two-factor authentication for your Apple ID to scan the QR code and receive the random tokens.

Recovery codes (c) will automatically show on-screen once two-factor authentication is enabled. This will help recover your account if you lose your Two-Factor Authentication Device. You can regenerate new recovery codes by clicking the "Regenerate Recovery Codes" button. Ensure to store these codes using a Password Manager App.

You can turn off two-factor authentication anytime by (d) clicking the "Disable" button.
