How to Navigate and Set up the Sites Settings
You can personalise your Mind That Workspace settings to tailor the experience to your needs and preferences. This includes customising the appearance of your interface, adding categories and organising tasks and projects in a way that makes sense to you. These personalisation options help to streamline the workflow and increase productivity.
This guide will teach you how to navigate and set up your Mind That Site Settings.
How to Navigate to Site Settings
To start, you must log in to your Mind That account. For multiple accounts, make sure to log in to the proper account.
Move your cursor to the Company profile beside the Individual profile and notification bell on the main navigation bar. Click the company profile dropdown button, and a menu will appear.
Click the Settings button to redirect to the Workspace Settings page immediately.
Under General Settings are several customisation options you can choose from and change according to your company’s preference. The options include Settings, Users, Jobs, Sites, Vendors and Entities, and more. We’re going to focus on the Sites, Vendors & Entities section.
Click on the Sites, Vendors & Entities section, and this will redirect you to that section.
This section has several tabs, including General, Site Categories, Vendor & Entity Categories, and Hazards. Let’s discuss each of these tabs.
General
This Site Settings tab will allow you to select default actions and triggers. As shown here, you can select a default site when creating a new job. The default site will automatically be applied for the user and public forms when a user or client has not selected any site within the forms.
Site Categories
The Site Categories tab defines the types of sites in your workspace. In this example, we’re a supermarket company. Our sites may include the Supermarket itself, warehouses and office buildings. These sites have different hazards and inductions, which we’ll discuss further in a separate tutorial.
Vendor & Entity Categories
Similar to the Sites Categories, this tab also defines the type of site, but instead of physical locations, it deals with relevant individuals. You can list down the vendors and entities that can do a particular work order or job. Examples in the image include Electricians, Plumbers, Aircon specialists, etc.
Hazards
The categories listed on the Site Categories will show here. This tab pertains to the hazards found on a particular site. You can create documents about hazards and upload them here. The system will automatically inherit the hazards for a specific category.
Choose a site category and click on the “Edit” Button. A window will appear and allow you to list the hazards and hazard descriptions for that particular site. A separate tutorial on hazards is available for further information.
